# Backup API

> *⚠️ Note: This API is not yet implemented and is planned for a future release.*

The Backup API will provide endpoints for creating, managing, and restoring backups of bot data and configurations.

## Planned Features

- Automated backup scheduling
- Point-in-time recovery
- Export/import bot configurations
- Data archival and retention policies
- Incremental and full backup options

## Base URL (Planned)

## Authentication

Will use the standard BotServer authentication mechanism with appropriate role-based permissions.

### Create Backup
`POST /api/v1/backup/create`

### List Backups
`GET /api/v1/backup/list`

### Restore Backup
`POST /api/v1/backup/restore/{backup_id}`

### Delete Backup
`DELETE /api/v1/backup/{backup_id}`

### Schedule Backup
`POST /api/v1/backup/schedule`
